MKP Bio - Stainless Steel Magnetic Drive Biotech Process Pump
The sealless MKP-Bio magnetic drive pump has been engineered especially for sterile fluid handling in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food industries.
Utilising the same unique MKP inverted shroud design, the Bio model offers:-
- Design to EHEDG recommendations
- Sterile, no dead areas, CIP- and SIP-able
- Wetted parts: surface finish Ra ≤0.8, internal corners rounded with radius of R3, surfaces inclined >3°
- Compact design
- Vertical configuration, fully self-draining through the suction port (no flush, drain or vent connections)
- Available in various grades of stainless steel, nickel-base alloys or titanium and with appropriate bearing materials to suit the application
