Lewa metering pumps are applied throughout the pharmaceutical industry from laboratory applications to large scale dosing, metering and mixing packages.

Our unique Discflo pumps do not use centrifugal force or positive displacement. Instead, they operate on the boundary layer/viscous drag forces that produce a laminar flow with very low pulsation.  As a consquence, they have almost zero impact on the product and are ideal for shear sednsitive and delicate pharmaceuticals, including centrifuge feed, crystal slurries, solvents, emulsions, filter press, abrasive slurries and thixotropic and/or dilatant fluids.
